Retro Tom

For Rak'Nor, he said in his first appearance back in episode 4 that when word of Teal'c turning against Apophis had reached his father, his father took it as a sign that the tides were turning & it was time for the Jaffa to be free & he burned the symbol of Apophis off of Rak'Nor's forehead as an act of defiance (probably his own head too)

Great job Tony. I laughed my butt off. See Shan, you have to watch those things now...lol. Hey, someone says something weird is going on in their head and for once, everyone believes them. Its about freaking time. I don't think Teal'c thought of losing the symbiote as losing a part of himself. Remember, to him the symbiote was on oppressive creature, dominating and controlling his people. One he hated. To him it was more like losing a parasite that invaded his body. He regretted the lose of the strength and healing it provided, which left him feeling inadequate. But I don't think he ever thought of it as part of him.

1. Yeah I'm pretty sure that's not how the Banana song goes Froots... But I like your attempt though 2. Aight... O'neill seems to be a bit of a slob... Leaving take-out out on the table like that (and not just a little bit either) ...I'd clean that shit up before you get unwanted guests mah dude 3. Carter: "When's the last time you ate, sir?" You: "We just had a scene of him at the cafeteria" ....It wasn't about that dum dum... Carter was suggesting it might have been something O'neill ate that made him younger 4. You asked.. I looked it up ...Michael Welch (Young O'neill) was about 1 month shy of turning 16 when this episode first aired ....And also.. I agree... Looks like the dude actually took the effort to learn how to act like O'neill ...You don't always see that 5. This is the 2nd time they've mentioned the F-302 (they mentioned it in 7x01 as well) ...Notice how it's no longer the X-302 ...This means that it's transitioned from being a prototype to being put into full service ....Just a random fact 6. Yeah the pilots at this briefing are being a bit rude... Carter was there during those flights plus she's arguably smarter than O'neill ....She's perfectly capable of holding this briefing ...And who'se to say? Maybe O'neill couldn't make the briefing cause he was sick or something ....They don't know that ...To point out that they want O'neill to brief them came off a bit ...I dunno... Misogynistic? ...Demeaning? Whatever you wanna call it ....But yeah... Rude 7. You: "Kind of weird that he was wearing O'neills clothes so you'd assume he was shrunk down in those clothes" .....I meeeeeeaaannn... Maybe you sleep fully clothed Froots but I don't ...O'neill got abducted in his sleep remember? 8. The light you saw of the Asgard transporter beam wasn't delayed... Young O'neill was beamed up ...Then we transitioned to a shot from outside where Carter was standing and saw the light coming from the transporter beam that brought OUR O'neill back 9. New Asgard ship design ...I suppose this is a research ship ...I wonder what it's called 10. I can understand why Loki wouldn't care much about how Young O'neill was dying in comparison to his research into trying to save his people ...The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few ...His entire race is dying ...While I don't particularly share his view on it... I can understand him taking extreme measures to save his people 11. Yeah the DNA altering machine you mentioned did get destroyed ...The people on that planet said they'd use it and then they were gonna destroy it so it wouldn't have helped in this case 12. I don't think I would want to go back to being a younger self and experiencing life all over again combined with the knowledge I have now .....At least NOT. in the present .....IF that offer came with going back in time ....I'd take it ....Rewrite my history a bit ...Make things better ....Would that be cheating?? Meh. 13. Yup... I did tell you last time that you weren't gonna recognise Peter Deluise next time he'd do a cameo ....Not that you know what he looks like ....In the 100th episode he was the director who was talking to Discount O'neill (not that that makes it any clearer for you but that's the best I can do for now) 14. Yes... You did sort of figure it out ...Loki was experimenting on Humans to figure out how to stop the degradation in the Asgard cloning process ...It's kinda weird they were able to stop it in Young O'neill and not apply that same process to themselves but.. TV Show's gotta TV show I guess 15. The curse of you checking your phone during a recording almost struck on this one ...Luckily you looked up at the right moment ...As I pointed out after you were done recording the episode... Replacing Michael Shanks with another person was a joke suggested by Handy ....Sooooo... There ya go Handy 16. Given how you tend to look at your phone a lot during recording and almost missed the joke ...I'mma refrain from pulling off any more shannanigans like this cause you might miss it and it might upset people ...I mean... I don't care if you look at your phone ...That's other people who get upset about that ....But the effort I put in was almost for nothing 17. And how could I NOT. use the crying scene for the intro??? ...What??? Was I supposed to make him look good???? C'mon son! ....And no that was the only thing I altered about the episode ...You didn't miss anything else 18. Side note... Carter was complaining about the movie "Signs" ....Aliens attempt to invade Earth ...Their weakness is water ....They invaded a planet that's covered over 70% in water and has frequent periods of rain ....Her arguments were very valid ...The movie was kinda stupid 19. Teal'c is seen telling O'neill and Daniel about his "weakness" ...All I can really focus on is the symbol on his forehead ....It looks more gold than usual ...Usually you can see his skintone in between the lines but this time it looks like the make-up department accidentally brushed the entire thing gold including the parts that should still show his skintone 20. I suppose Teal'c (the character itself) in a way is more appealing to the audience with his gold emblem in-tact and they just don't have him walk around with a huge scar on his forehead the way Rak'nor has his burned off ....It's a trademark signature I suppose 21. True... Ascended Daniel could've told Teal'c about Rya'c and Bra'tac back in 6x22 ...But this episode hadn't been thought of yet soooooo... TV Show gotta TV Show 22. I disagree Froots... Yes.. WE know that Bra'tac was running out of Tretonin... But waiting to strike to me was the right decision ....We both know you're not good at stealth missions ...It's best to figure out exactly what you're dealing with instead of going in guns blazing and risking lives ....Waiting until night time gave them enough time to figure shit out 23. Why the hell did that slave dude go and rat out Teal'c??? What??? Did he hear Teal'c tell Rya'c that they could not save all of them??? Did he get butthurt and decide to go tell the guards??? The fuck!? 24. Yeeeeeahhh... How did they ring aboard this ship?? You'd think the rings would have been guarded and any sign of them approaching would've been seen ....But nope... O'neill: "Think bigger" ...cut to literally the next scene... Them using the rings to get into the ship ....Bit of a plothole there or just WORST. security EVER. 25. Daniel and Carter are about to leave the ship ....Guards show up at the rings .....Nooooooow they decide to add security?!?! ...But why?!! 26. The guy in charge of this prison camp was stupid ...He could've used Teal'c as a bargaining chip to get a better position ...Instead he tried to kill him ...What a dumbass ....I guess he liked living in tents with a bunch of other dudes 27. The ship hovering in the air did look kinda cool yeah with the star design holding it up ....But I'm thinking it's more of a shipyard kinda thing... The star wasn't part of the ship itself ....Makes me wonder though... WHY have it hovering in the air??? It would've been MUCH safer to have it in space.. But then it wouldn't have crashed into the ground nor would it have been visible to O'neill and them
