So, their snazzy new ship was damaged by a gravity wave? I hate to tell them this but gravity waves exist all throughout space. Hell, they'll have to pass through the same wave to get back to Earth. They're going nowhere fast. And whose idea was it to NOT have a redundancy for such a critical piece of equipment? Also, it's a good thing everyone in space understands English or they'd have been done for.

2023-02-15 21:21:43 If my memory is correct, this episode came about because someone in the writer's room said they think it would be cool to do a recreation of digging up a Stargate in a dessert then raising it up like in the original movie. Brad Wright liked the idea & story was written around that moment Also, I liked when Ronson told Sam to cannibalize parts from any other part of the ship to repair the buffer. Far too often Scifi shows just have tech with easily interchangeable parts when in reality it isn't always the case, as per Sam's lightbulb analogy
