Haha, you and Jessica were both wrong. It wasn't an otter or mongoose that Robert owned. It was a ferret. They are common pets here in the US. Maybe other places too. Interestingly though, they are illegal to own in New York City. Of course people still do. Same here in California.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. I completely understand why you would feel that way but I personally feel it was some what clever. How many times in other shows who shall remain nameless do they introduce a new character and be like "hey look at this new guy everyone look over here he's always been our best buddy and part of the crew" and then they die and we're supposed to be all tears but some times it's like.. "yep saw that coming". Brining him back to die in a couple episodes gave a slight element of surprise as we as an audience most likely didn't seem it coming and may have actually felt something. I'll never attempt to claim Simpson was any ones favorite character but people had to like him better then new rando.

All episodes of season 2 are directed by women. The Whizzer was an actual comic book superhero first published by Marvel in 1941. One year after The Flash first appeared. He was part of the All Winners Squad, a super team that also included Captain America, Bucky Barnes, the Human Torch, Toro, the Sub-Mariner and Miss America. For a short while it was believed that The Whizzer (along with his wife Miss America) were the parents of Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver until it was later revealed to be Magneto and his wife Magda. The bar Jessica is drinking in at beginning is same bar Matt and Foggy always seen in.

One of the guys I worked with had a pet ferret. He used to bring it to work occasionally. It was very friendly and cute.

Yeah, I actually fostered 3 of them for a good buddy. I wanted to get some of my own but sadly, they are not allowed where I live now.
