ROUND 2 / POLL 9 was painful. Would be happy with any of that. Ash vs Expanse was especially difficult. Would be fun to see Shan squirm through Ash but Expanse is such an amazing show and I think she'd love it.

I take it back, hadn't seen her reaction to the pilot. That was really annoying. Adjusting my criteria for what she'd like to include more spoon-feeding (had already done so for comedies after the whole "I need a laughtrack" debacle.)

Keep in mind this was watched a long time before she ever saw an episode of Stargate and she wasn't really into sci-fi.. Her mind might have changed now that she's more used to it.

I don't think sci-fi was really the problem. But she is older now and hope springs eternal. But perhaps a happy medium like Fringe will win the day.

Her assessment of Fringe pilot was fair. The show took several episodes to get its footing. I see hope that she would grow into it. Expanse she disliked the core elements of the show which it only leans into harder as it progresses.
