Yeah, they really didn’t explain what Renard was doing in Europe. My guess was the meeting he had with the men in the barn, the “Resistance” people. Possibly they wanted to see him in person to formalize their agreement to work together to fight the Royals. It also gave him a chance to talk to Adalind in person. To see if he could figure out if the child was his or not, maybe… Death by radiation poisoning is gross, horrible way to die. I like the redemption arc story lines, but here its marred by the fact he was cheating on his wife. Right in the room next to her… kind of makes him an asshole. I get the healing makes him horny, but Renard said the monk he knew took care of that with a potion. The one Renard’s mother supplied. Why didn’t this guy do same thing. Or better yet, just have sex with his wife. The cheating thing makes it hard for me to 100% accept his redemption. But still, sacrificing his life to save the woman that tried to kill him was nice. Hey, Juliette’s friend is a fuchsbau. Every time the wogue, all I can think is Jimmy Hendrix singing “Foxy Lady”. lol
