This was a nearly perfect episode That transition from young to current clark was beautiful. I am proud of Jordan for trying but he really had no chance. It just feels like the writers understand and respect the characters they are writing and the audience they are writing them for.

This is definitely one of the best episodes of the entire series. Going from what appears to be a standard flashback episode to slowly revealing it to what it actually is was brilliant.

I love this episode is in my top 5 favorite episode of the show The callback from different superman Media seeing clark early years as superman Lois loving clark for who he is as a person not because of superman it's show that lois chose Clark which I love Best episode of the season 1 so far Can't wait for the next episode

The Nazi dude is called Atom Man. His first and only appearance in comics was in the Superman Smashes the Klan limited series from 2019. It's a great read and one I highly recommend.

As someone that has been reading comics and watching Superman movies and shows since I was a kid, this episode was a great retelling of his origin. The nostalgia was off the charts. So many quotes and moments that reminded me of those times. When I said in last week's Flash comment that the quality of the Arrowverse shows was declining around this time, I didn't mean S&L. This show is an exception. I love this season and I am enjoying rewatching it with you.

This is almost definitely my favorite episode out of the entire show. To me, it was perfect and so, so well done. The part where he saved the kid from the falling car has got to be one of the best scenes in the entire show as well.

Another case of inconsistency in the CW universe. Why does the Fortress of Solitude look different here than on Supergirl. They are in same universe. And we have seen the FoS post Crisis on Supergirl and it looks different.
