Tommy

Barry becoming the lightning bolt that hit him would actually be a perfect endless loop to the series.

SWTobito

So this is a first for me but I will actually not be watching this reaction, because I dislike this episode that much. The entire focus being on Allegra who is not even remotely likable or interesting enough to carry an episode, while also taking Barry entirely out of the equation was like shooting yourself in the foot with a shotgun. As much as seeing your reaction to this episode might be pretty fun, I will not make myself go through this episode again.

Fenhorn

I have not seen this since it aired and I normally like to re-watch the episodes here and it could have been entertaining with your reaction and all but no. I did a fast-forward to hear your thoughts about it (I did the same with the last episode as well). I don't remember what episode comes next, but it is better than this, it must be. I'm sure of it.

Tommy

Dont worry, this is the worst episode of the series. You finally got past it so we can move on to better things.

Tommy

I miss ralph so much. I think he could have made this season a little bit better. They did him so so dirty.

Tommy

Why dont you like chester? He has a personality that is similar to other characters in other shows that you love. I just dont understand why you hate him.

Joseph Jimenez

Honestly I wanted to rewatch arrow season 4 after this episode My dream team is Cisco as tech genius on comms Caitlin as team doctor Barry, wally and Ralph on the field fighting villains I don't care about Allegra or Chester they are the worst characters on the show THIS IS WORST EPISODE I HAVE EVERY SEEN like come on man

You guys are giving spoilers. Mentioning anything about future eps or seasons, even if you think you're not spoiling what happens, is giving Shan an expectation. Joseph, you might want to delete the last sentence. Semaj, you should probably remove your comment or edit it to say something different.

Tony

True, Please don't mention anything relating to stuff she has not seen yet. It gives off something we (but more importantly she) like to call expectation spoilers. This has in the past influenced her reactions. If you're looking for a most genuine reaction, you'll remove/edit what you've said. Thanks.

I didn't care for this one either. Allegra is just too difficult to get invested in. Esparanza is an annoying villain. Chester isn't too bad and I know they're trying to make his character likable but he just feels like a discount Cisco. I agree that the only one of the new crew that doesn't annoy tf outta me is Sue. This ep felt like they were going for a backdoor pilot or something. If that was the case, it for sure didn't work. But really, I think the lack of the main cast being more present in this one is probably because at the time most of the world was in COVID lockdown and they may have had to do some rewriting of episodes to include certain characters and exclude others.

Zach Hershman

COVID did shorten this season because the show (all CW shows actually) started much later than usual. Because of that the showrunners knew they didn't have time to write in a 2nd arc for this season. They instead used these episodes to focus more on the secondary characters and to give the main leads of the show a few weeks off from work. I actually like Allegra more than most apparently. This episode still was one of my least favorites though. Esperanza is a boring villain. The high points of this episode for me was the interactions between Allegra and Sue. I think those two have good chemistry on screen and work well in scenes together. I don't get all the criticism of Allegra. She is doing the same thing every other member of the cast has done on multiple occasions. Heck, Barry does it a couple times each season. Stupidly believing in the bad guys is a core theme of this show.
