The Mad Titan

Will you show me the difference between an Australian accent, and a New Zealand accent. Isit something like comparing a New York accentt, and a California, or Texas accent?

Zach Hershman

To answer your question. Vibrating beds / chairs work to relax tense muscles and relieve pain. The reason they had them in hotels / motels is because it was often people on long road trips that stayed in those places. If I had to guess, they probably had vibrating beds in other hotels for other uhmmm reasons.

Kiwi's tend to pronounce their vowels with more of "u" sound. The actress in this episode actually sounds a bit more British. I'm guessing her accent has changed some since she has lived in England for most of her adult life.

Thank you for the help with that, but one last question sorry, what's a kiwi?

Zach Hershman

A Kiwi is a nickname for someone from New Zealand. The kiwi bird is the national symbol for NZ and was on military insignia worn in WWI. Because of the insignias it became a nickname used by soldiers from other countries. Ever since then the nickname has been one the NZ people are proud to be associated with. A majority of NZ residents call themselves either Kiwis or En Zedders.
