Had to pause part way through. I can't blame you for missing it as I just noticed it myself. When LIv's roommate goes down in to the lab with her dad and finds out that there's a new doctor again, she makes the joke that they're like drummers for Spinal Tap. It just stuck in my brain that this is the exact same joke Buffy makes to Giles when he's considering buying the magic shop in 5x02 or 5x03. Can't remember specifically which one. She said something along the lines that the Magic shop owners were like the drummers in Spinal Tap because they died and were changed so often. I know, just a nerdy Buffy reference, but it gave me a laugh.

This was a hard episode for Liv. The brain effects can be funny, helpful, and interesting. They can be a curse too. In this one, we find they can even be overpowering. Poor LIv and poor Major. Also, if he comes by her place, it isn't going to help much. When Rita told her dad about Major getting back into a relationship with Liv, she started staying at her other place. Her dad called it her pied-à-terre (no, I didn't spell that, copy and paste, lol), which is basically a home away from home. So, she's going to avoid Liv's place so they don't accidentally cross paths. I think the reason why Major hasn't been around is partly to do with Rita. Obviously, when they were together, she wouldn't want him over at Liv's place, so she probably took him to her other place. Plus, it seems part of her staying there was too keep tabs on LIv and Major's relationship, so she was on her toes about him coming over, as he would surely spoil her being undercover. Oh well, here's hoping for more fun brains next episode.
