The new showrunners have been writing for this reboot since season 1 and they didnt even like the direction they went in season 2-3 so im glad they are bringing elements from season 1 like pixies and magical creatures and the writing seems to be a big step up as well. The season 2-3 showrunners wanted the show to be a cheap knockoff of supernatural but worse in every way. Season 1 at least felt like it could be charmed and the first showrunner could have took feedback and made season 2 really good but they made a mistake by replacing the original showrunner. Im just glad the show is run by people who were involved in season 1 now so they can bring back elements from season 1 that made the show feel more magical.

Season 4 is already miles better than season 2 and 3. If it keeps it up i feel like it could even outdo season 1. Im glad youre enjoying it more than you did before. It really does seem like they listened to some feedback from the last 2 seasons.

I feel this was a good episode. I love that Kayla has a mortal friend who knows her secret and that is not killed off in one episode. I feel like Jordan isn't a full white lighter but has just siphoned a little of Harry's healing power. I really enjoyed seeing Mel use her powers this episode. Still hoping for her to get back her time powers..!
