The language was created for the show. It's called Trigedasleng(TRI-ge-da-sleng) or just Trig, the word itself translates to "forest language". It was created by David J. Peterson, who is a linguist, he also created Dothaki and High Valyrian for Game of Thrones and a bunch of other languages for other movies and shows Indra(black older lady with a sword, who seems to be in charge of Lincoln's village) switched from Trig to English so that Octavia would understand her, 'cause she knew that O was following them) Finn is cray-cray, it's not something that season 1 Finn would do, but, his season 1 pacifism blew up in his face when Grounders slaughtered them and he learned the hard way that apparently there can only be war between them. and now Clarke is missing(maybe even dead as far as he concerned), and he loves her so much(too much it seems), so he's off his rocker) Maybe you seem to be that bothered by his behaviour change, because you like his character, I never did, so I didn't really cared. He loved and he lost and now he's angry and doesn't think straight, it's dire circumstances, he's desparate to find her, or to know her fate, behaves out of character or his character traits change and shift as he evolves into his new self, that sh1t happens, I didn't mind that, it kinda tracks, I dunno, I didn't have a problem with that.....

The reason why Finn is so different this season is bc he lost clarke the person who he is madly in love with and he would do anything to find her. i know its not an excuse but i can see it. I wish he wasnt as extreme as they wrote it but it does make somewhat sense to me.

Finn's character change is 100% because of PTSD. It actually started after he and Clarke were kidnapped. When they were escaping in the mines he had to kill the Reaper in self defense. They made a point to show that that shook him up a little. Then during the battle he not only saw the Grounders slaughtering his friends, but he was trying to kill them. That was the first time he picked up a gun. Combine all that death with him having to watch the Grounder kill another friend of his in episode 1 of this season. Now with Clarke missing, and in his mind caught by the murderous Grounders, he's just snapped.

Glad that you mentioned the grounder killing the other person in episode 1 of this season. People tend to forget about that when Finn goes off the rails in these two episodes. I think he is imagining this happening to Clarke and it is triggering his PTSD. I have seen this season a few times, enough so that I have forgotten some of the lesser details but watching Shan’s reactions is letting me remember/notice things I hadn’t before. I didn’t mention it in the previous weeks episode, but this seems like a good time. Finn was holding things together for the most part in episode 2 but I think that was so he could focus on Raven. However, there is a moment where he snaps/yells at Abby when she was going over things before Raven’s surgery. It wasn’t something that is brought up again in the episode but now after these two episodes, it is an early sign that Finn was on edge and very close to really snapping.
