Katee Sackhoff was born to play Bo Katan. That character is from the animated Clone Wars series, and she did the voice there too. The Jedi she mentioned, Ahsoka Tano, is also from The Clone Wars. Those 2 things in this episode was a "big deal" for Star War fans :) There were 4 AoS actors in this episode, though 2 were really bit parts. I only recognized 2 of the 4 myself. You should go back and figure this one out :P

Patrick - Excelsior

The Dark Saber is the one we saw Moff Gideon using in the after credit seen in the season 1 finale. Its one of a kind and is supposed to belong to the Leader of the Mandaloreans.

Yay! Was so cool to see Bo in live action. Seeing one Mandalorian in action is great but a squad is amazing! This was probably the first episode with a bunch of The Clone Wars content that went over your head. Personally I think they could have done a bit better of a job explaining it to people like you who never saw the Clone Wars I love that they made Mando be raised by Death Watch or The Watch. Another thing that probably went over your head was the Ahsoka Tano name drop. She is one of the main characters of The Clone Wars series

Bo-Katan's older sister, Satine, was Duchess of Mandalore (leader of the Mandalorian people). Satine was *clears throat* "friends" with Obi-Wan Kenobi. She was killed during The Clone Wars. During The Clone Wars, Mandalorians would put their helmets on and take them off all the time. Not removing helmets was not a thing before this show.
