Shan: I don't believe it for a second LOL...had I been eating or drinking something at the time, my keyboard and monitor would require a good cleaning!

Yeah, this episode isn't particularly good. The only thing it has going for it, imo, is the character development and the relationship between the team. It feels more and more like they are friends/family and not just co-workers.

I noticed that the funeral ceremony protocols were very expertly handled (especially the flag folding procedure), so I Googled to see if they used active duty military personnel for the episode - and sure enough, they did. Per Executive Producer Brad Wright, "We called the Air Force and asked how they would do a color guard for a memorial. And they said, 'Why don't we send you one?' And that's what you see in the episode: actual U.S. Air Force personnel are folding the flag and doing salutes."

Well I liked this one. I didn't believe Daniel was dead either, but I liked how the plot played out. I noticed Jack was acting a bit odd right away. I thought he was possessed, so the twist of altered memories got me. I liked it, didn't expect that one bit. So for me this was a mystery solving episode more than anything. Also it sort of reminded me of the Star Trek TNG episode Darmok.
