Melissa had been pushing for Supergirl to get a new suit that had pants for years because as you can guess, Vancouver is too cold to be filming in a skirt

Melissa did incredible with her acting performance when she was telling Lena the truth, and I always fund my heart clenching when I watch that scene. Definitely one of her best if not her best acting performance on the show so far.

I wasn’t surprised when it turned out that Lena was still angry, there’s no way the writers would resolve the conflict that quickly. I think the reason that Lena is reacting so much more to this than someone normally would is because this same thing has happened to her on multiple occasions. With her mother, her brother, close friends (as she mentioned in season 2 when Kara was trying to make friends with her) I think she felt like she finally found someone genuine, a person who would always be there for and never hurt or deceive her like everyone else close to her had, but then she did just that. Also, there were multiple occasions where Kara and Lena’s relationship was great while supergirl and Lena’s wasn’t, and to Lena that probably seems like Kara was being fake with her or pretending not to be mad at her which would probably really sting.

The watch Lena had earlier in the episode was Lex’s portal watch (the one that lex used when he fell) while the one that Kara gave her was one of the signal watches. It has the hidden button on it that calls Supergirl if someone’s in trouble.

Referring to a comment: I don't think you can really compare Lena's response to finding out Kara's secret, with Cisco & Camilla. For starters Camilla & Cisco have been dating for a few weeks at this point. And in my opinion, that is still way too early, as that relationship may not even last. When it comes to Lena, it's not that her friend is lying about being Supergirl, it's that every friend she has, is lying. It may not be their secret to tell, which is fair, but the fact that Lena is the one person that doesn't know. Plus it doesn't make it easier, when she has her brother & mother who both constantly manipulate her, and lie to her. Because she thought she could trust Kara, and it just seems now that she can't even trust that friendship. My point is that Camilla's response, though amazing isn't valid. Lena's is more from a friend that has been betrayed by all her friends. (Like being the only friend in the group, that everyone hate, but keep you around as a joke.)

Melissa acting in this. special the part with her and Lena was amazing. Also like the part with Alex saying, "how do you get dress so fast." Hope this season is better than the last.
