Even though the scene is awesome, Vanya lifting the lake is super dramatic. In the time it took her to do all that she could have just swam in and grabbed him. He was seriously right there. It's also inconsistent with her story. She barely remembered she even had powers in the last episode and even before that she is the least trained in how to use her powers. I just feel like it will take a certain skill level to be able to channel her powers well enough to lift the lake without hurting the boy plus keep it lifted while grabs him. Again AWESOME but unrealistic.
