We all have things we don't like or even fear and it's perfectly normal to behave like this if for example you dont like contortionist at all. Personally I felt like they didn't do enough with the character. As for surpressing Nora's abilities, Iris lost her husband (the love of her life) and I can only imagine what that could make someone do (technically he went missing according to the newspaper, but I see that as the same).

If I recall correctly until Joe's actor recovers Cecil will take over roles that were clearly designed for Joe. some worked better than others but this episode is one I like a lot. it really shows how proud Joe is of his kids that he's shared so many stories of their life with Cecil

You need to think about TV shows like music records, they are done by different record companies so different budgets, resources and production values but then they get released on the same platform I.E. Apple store, Spotify.

Also if you notice any scenes with Joe he will either be sitting down or leaning up against something. Especially in the first few episodes of this season

I loved this villain, and yes he's creepy. I felt that what this episode was missing was the fight between Ralph and Rag Doll. They can both stretch/bend into different shapes, so I think it would be an interesting fight.
