Claire Holt left the show becuase she was dealing with some personal reasons and she wanted to spend more time with her friends and family back home. Also, the Originals was shot in Atlanta, not New Orleans. As for Maisie Richardson Sellers, who plays Rebekah 2.0, it took me a while but she definately grows in you

This season is really REALLY intense. And i think they (writers) did a good job with Finn. He became an interesting character. Not just... a boring mommy's son. And an actor is incrediable too.

Fly on the Wall

Rebekah was my favorite, too. So it was really sad and disappointing that Claire never wanted to stay on the show. There were reasons I'm sure, I just wish we got more of her.
