So close to being done with TV's greatest space western. :) It is great for a weekend binge watch. I gave and received multiple DVD boxed sets one Christmas. And they got passed around... I think lots of people who saw some of the episodes on TV did the same thing.

Personally one of my least favorites from the series, but it gets pass from me for having one of the best lines in the series. "Also, I can kill you with my brain." Actually probably my favorite Summer Glau line out of all of her roles.

I always enjoy this episode. It's light and funny... with lots of cute little moments for lots of the characters. "WHAT'S SHE DOING ON THE SHIP?! I don't remember pulling over!" "You chuck it in the garbage." "Kaylee Kaylee Kaylee Kaylee Kaylee Kaylee Kaylee."

Firefly has the fan following that it does because -- despite its short run -- they were able to accomplish enough to make it satisfying to watch... Jayne's betrayal, the conflict among Mal/Zoe/Wash coming to a head, the return of Niska and Saffron, etc. It functions pretty well as a mini-series. When it's over, you'll just have to do what the rest of us do. Watch Serenity... and then watch Firefly again. The Serenity movie allowed Joss to tell more of the story that he originally wanted to tell. It makes a pretty good finale for Firefly.

First she's Saffron, then Bridget, and then Yolanda. I think her real name was Rumpelstiltskin. Pretty sure.

Supposedly the "What's she's doing on the ship " scene, Jewel Staite covered up her laugh (which you can see) as that wasn't in the script, she just laughed on her own at his delivery.

This is probably my Favorite episode out of quite a few favorite episodes. Christina Hendrick's "villain" is really enjoyable, and just the entire crew except for Book have some good moments in it.

I wasn't really a fan of this eps. It had some great moment in, I like River, "Jane, a girl name."

If it's any consolation, I STILL enjoy the show and don't want it to end...... Even though I know it does. This show could have had four or five, or maybe many more, seasons of goodness. Still one of my favorites, and I still am attatched to the crew.
