If anyone continues watching this show the next 3 episodes in the correct order are: The Accidental Occidental Conception, The Sino-Mexican Revelation, and The Manicoid Teleportation Conundrum. Streaming services have the Manicoid episode as the 2nd episode which is wrong.

I loved The Middleman (2008) and watched all 12 episodes as it originally aired on TV. The tongue in cheek mixture of humor, heroes, supervillains, science fiction and even the supernatural with the fast, witty dialogue was pretty much ideal for me. The series was based on a comic and the unmade 13th episode (season 1 finale) was released as a graphic novel.
