I love firefly, but I kinda despise the opening song. It’s probably an unpopular opinion. It really was a post holer. They are kinda like if you take to shovels and fasten them together.

Something I didn't catch until my second viewing is that River steals the roll from Jayne's plate. That's why he reaches across to get another roll. So her playful/"bratty" behavior isn't just limited to her brother.
