Well, the SPN writers love to make us suffer, so making us wait to see Death is just par for the course. I originally thought it really odd that Dean would trust Crowley. But, actually, I don't think it's so much as really trusting Crowley in total, as believing that Crowley can actually help them. Crowley isn't trying to hide that he's a bad guy from the boys like Ruby was. He's admittedly helping them out of self interest. I think Dean can understand that perspective and he expects Crowley to screw them over if he can. And Crowley would likely admit that. It is unsettling to see Sam in such a state. And finding out about Brady. Sheesh! It's amazing he was able to control himself and not go through with killing him.

Great reaction, as always! This is one of the best SPN episodes. I love Crowley! He's my favorite after Dean. You seemed confused at 26:31 when Crowley called Sam a "moose". That line at the end by the brothers about who Brady should be afraid of is one of my favorite moments for them. Everyone always underestimates them, but they'll get you

Crowley is an amazing character. He gets some of the very best lines in the entire series. Plus Mark Sheppard is the loveliest man. He loves fans so much, but is snarky as hell at conventions and takes great pride in not answering questions. Believe me, the wait for Death is worth it. They picked the perfect actor as well as the perfect music to introduce him. (I'm posting this after you've already posted your reaction to the next episode, so I know it's not a spoiler.)
