RIP to the buffy bot :C

In regards to Buffy's eyesight, don't forget she's literally just been bought back to life, and while her soul may have been elsewhere her physical body has still been lying in total darkness - actually her soul has also been in a place with no shape or form, so presumably eyes aren't a thing that were needed.

That moment with Dawn and Buffy at the tower and for the rest of the episode always gets me bawling. It's so beautiful!! And I love that Spike is keeping his promise to Buffy to keep Dawn safe. ❤❤ oh, Spike!! 😍😍 #Spuffyforeverandever

I also love the fact that Buffy's first instinct is to return to the one spot where she remembers everything was clear to her, as opposed to the chaos she's surrounded by after returning from the dead.

I guess there are three possibilities. 1) As you say, her body is waking up. 2) The smoke from the burning cars hurt her eyes. 3) The stress of being alive is giving her tunnel vision.

Vampires aren't suffocating when they wake up in their coffins.

First thought on your opening reaction to this episode - I love how much you care about the Buffybot! Also, you pink hair is really cute in plaits. :) Willow: "Buffy's gone, she's really gone." ASR: " She don't look gone to me!" Love :)

NORAD is defense command, and DEFCON is defense condition--DEFCON 1 means basically, at war. :D

Love your reaction to these 2 episodes Shan, and all your little comments. Yup, such an emotional episode. Poor Buffy, so traumatised, having to dig herself out of her grave, all disorientated and coming back to Sunnydale all gone to hell. I'm not surprised that she wasn't sure she was home. Very emotional reunion with Dawn. Ugh, the demons in this episode, so gross and fucked up. They went way further with that than they have before - seems that the new network meant freedom for more Willow & Tara kisses & snuggles, and also going darker with the demons.

*siiiighhh* What did Shan ask of us before the start of episode 5 of last season? What you just said falls under what she asked not to happen.

I guess I didn't think what I said was really a spoiler but I guess it could be interpreted that way so.......

Yes even slayer healing is going to take a while to overcome a dead body. I'm sure has other aliments she is not even mentioning...like dryness...it's going to take a lot of conditioner to get her hair back to perfection!

This is my absolute favorite season premiere! I feel the pain on both sides, but it was not right, unless there was the slightest evidence (which there wasn't) that Buffy's soul was trapped somewhere in the wrong place. I was so sorry for Buffy. You say "they were not ok". I say, Buffy can't be held responsible for the welfare of the world. And that also applies to everyone, including those she loves. Her time was up. Faith should have been re-recruited. And also, just over 4 months is not yet time to get over the death of a loved one. They did it out of self-pity and inability to cope with life. Again, those are understandable but insanely immature reasons and a big mischief to Buffy. And that stupidity of not even thinking of digging out her coffin before resurrecting her...ugh

Whoever reads this here's a little fun fact: in the commentary to this episode David fury( the co-writer of the episode) said that he wrote the scene where Tara axe's and kills the demon that way specifically for Amber.
