I thought this was a good idea...but yeah, a lot of it doesn't make much sense if you think about it. Although, I thought the Flynn guy or whatever his name is was a jerk, but seeing as how Prue became a photographer like 5 minutes ago, I kinda assumed she was pretty bad at it. The show makes it seem like she has natural talent, but she has no experience, so she probably makes a bunch of newbie mistakes (isn't there an episode where she forgets to bring film to a photo shoot?). If you were like one of the best in the world at something, and some young person kept making mistakes, you'd probably get annoyed with them as well (You don't seem like a jerk, so you wouldn't act like he did, but inside you probably would be wishing you could.)
