Grant really is a great Barry Allen isn't he. The Arrowverse doesn't nail every character, but that one they did.

While yelling out Oliver wasn't very smart, yelling out Green Arrow would have made no sense. That's not what he is called. In season 1 it was The Hood or just the vigilante. Right now it's just Arrow with no green... or just the vigilante.

amazing reaction! i'm at work watching your reaction cuz i couldn't wait. I was fangirling over you fanglirling to Barry lol. He's my fav superhero too. I think the way they introduced Barry in the arrowverse was fantastic and Grant's quirks are so spot on when it comes to Barry Allen, it's fantastic to watch

Great reaction. This reaction and the one for the next episode are the ones I am looking forward to the most this season. Grant is a great choice for Barry and the way he works with Team Arrow is great. I know you mentioned being a fan of the Flash and you have watched all the animated features/movies DC has done. Do have to ask if you have ever seen the first TV live action version of Flash that was done in the 90's? It was only one season. It's not the greatest as it is very 90's. However, it has two big things to come out of it. The actor who plays Barry in that show is playing Grant's Barry's father. Also it had Mark Hamill playing the Trickster.

I'm - so - slow - to - write - this - Orwaseverybodyelsereallyreallyquick! We didn't know back then, that this was a sneaky back yard pilot to spark interest in a Flash series. IT WORKED. Grant hit the ground running (see what I did there) and didn't disappoint. Even tantalizing us with him standing next to chemicals while lightning flashed overhead. Awesome reaction to awesome episode. (FLASHed overhead)
