This is one of my all time favorite episodes - the scene at the end still makes me cry. (Jensen got so upset shooting that he had to "walk it off" after the scene was over.) One thing I've never understood was why Alistair bothered to torture Ruby. She offered to give Anna to him from the beginning and that's exactly what she did after the torture. Other than a chance to show a naked woman on screen, I still don't get the reason. Thanks for another great reaction. I always look forward to Mondays so I can see your next uploads.

Alistair likes to torture. That's probably enough for him. But he was also punishing Ruby for helping Sam.

This is one of the episodes that adds to my overall angst over Dean going to Hell. I know it makes for a great overall story and is a necessary part of the show, but that doesn't mean I have to Like it. I still get upset over him having to go to hell and have all of this happen to him. He didn't deserve it. And then they go and tell us that it was 40 freakin' years! Yes, I know that's something that has been told about time in hell before - but my poor Dean! Good story, yet. But I can see feel bad about it. And I'll likely always be pissed at Kripke and the writers for doing it! Jensen always kills these scenes, though. He truly gets into the character when he's acting, and it shows.
