I feel so bad for Rebekah in this episode, but at the same time, I can't blame Elena and Damon for taking her out of play either. The last time they'd gotten this close to killing Klaus, Elijah screwed them over, and Rebekah was already expressing doubts and regret, there was no way she would have been able to go through with the plan -- she would have caved to save her brother, because no matter what Klaus has done, he's still her brother and she still loves him. I loved that, as much as Katherine has wanted Klaus dead for 500 years, she was willing to give up her chance to see him killed in order to save Damon's life and Stefan's humanity (although I suspect the later was more important to her than the former; she may say she loved Damon, but Stefan has always mattered more to her). I also love angry, vengeful Stefan at the end. His emotions are back on enough to want to save Damon and to get mad at Klaus, but not for much else, and I love that he came up with the idea of stealing Klaus's family, pretty much the one thing anyone could do that would really hurt Klaus.

"She looks a little bit like Katharine right now." ..... ROFL good call.

This would be the season finale for most tv series. Katherine is probably my favorite vampire in the show.

I enjoyed the episode. I really like your sixth sense on stuff. You were right.
