God, how I love Spike, in all his forms. It doesn’t matter if he’s pathetic Spike looking ridiculous wearing Xander’s clothes or “I can hurt a demon!” Spike. And I so, so, so love “Come on! Vampires! Grrr! Nasty! Let’s annihilate them. For justice, and for the safety of puppies... and Christmas, right? Let’s fight that evil! Let’s kill something!”

I thought the fly was flying around on my screen at first haha. Your love for Spike is amazing. I like how Spike low-key was a metaphor for depression and Willow was trying to talk him away from the ledge at points in the episode, was hilarious such great Spike scenes.

As much as I love this episode, a part that bugs me is how obvious it is that most of Anthony's scenes had to be redubbed. The scene between Buffy and Giles in the patio makes this obvious as his voice is so clear compared to Buffy's and the lip sync is off.
