I really like this movie too! This was a passing of the torch to new main characters. As you can see sidney didnt show up in 6. I dont know how much youve heard about Scream 7 so im not sure if i should say anything related to that. There isnt any plot descriptions or anything just some stuff behind the scenes. Yes this is sadly the first movie in the franchise not directed by Wes Craven. Thats why it felt so different but i still think they did a good job. I love how they dedicated the movie to him and even named a character after him. It was a clever way of doing the "For Wes" inside the actual movie. This franchise is one of the only horror franchises that doesnt have a bad movie. While some are weaker than others like 2 and 3, none of them have been bad. I dont expect that to change anytime soon. Also i love the motive for this movie. Toxic Fandom is real and doing meta commentary on it makes perfect sense. Its unfortunately realistic nowadays. Hope you enjoy scream VI

I thought this one was decent. Not as good as Scream 4 but not bad either. I did think it was a bit ridiculous at the end that the 2 sisters, Sydney and Gail are all injured from stab wounds yet they're still ableto fight the killers and beat them. Also, how many times was Hughie (Richie but hopefully everyone gets the reference) stabbed before she finally slit his throat? He should have been dead many times over already. Plus the other one comes back from being shot and engulfed in flames. But I'm sure there are plenty of examples in the other movies as well. Sorry for not paragraphing. Apparently my phone's keyboard isn't allowing it and keeps saving instead.

Yeah, these movies have done some crazy things, like in Scream 4 when Dewey was telling Jill that Sidney might survive, that they were hopeful that there was a chance she would live. Then when Jill goes to kill her, Sidney is able to get out of the bed and fight her, how? If the doctors weren't even sure she was going to live. But then again, people in real life have survived crazy things, there's stories of people lifting trucks and cars off of people. Also, after I would read comments about people saying it was to unrealistic that people would survive some of the things that happened in these movies. I looked up if it was possible and found stories about people who have survived worse than what's happened to characters in these movies. So I guess not as unrealistic as we think.

Issue: The sheriff has siren on as she goes home to save son. Why would she turn it off when arriving at house. 1 it would slow her down to do it. 2. she wants attention. Still, the siren was on all the way to house, no one in the middle of the day looked out to see what's going on? I hear a siren in my neighborhood, I look out to see what's up. She called in an APB to converge on her house, in a small town, yet killer had at least 15 minutes to stalk her son. Obviously the police in this town hate their boss. How did killer get in house, the doors were locked or did the guy in the long black robes and ghost mask stand in front yard leaning over dead body for 10 minutes looking for the sheriffs keys. All while the entire street is watching. Why couldn't they go back to hospital, which happens to be full of people as well as police at the time, to get inhaler? Far safer to do that then some house with no police in it.
