I saw this in theaters and I agree, the movie is decent but just alright. I think they totally copied the Spiderverse animation style and they changed a lot of the characterizations. To me, the best animated Turtles movie is still TMNT. I recommend checking that one out. SMG has a voice acting role in it as well.

I like that instead of keeping the Turtles hidden they actually made it a plot point of them wanting to be known cause its not usually there ok with hiding and being ninja's for the most part and fighting Shredder and such . Loved Splinter he was so cute being so protective and caring so much and loved all the voices they had for the turtles them being actual kids
