Shantae Squids (Alternate versions) (Patreon)

Like I explained in my previous Edited artwork compilation, I'm changing my web address in several old pictures, as well as improving certain visual aspects of them (if needed). 

Then I Stumbled upon this artwork, and from this year no less. And I realized that certain details on the picture didn't hold on pretty well (at least from my perspective), plus it was missing many effect that I usually include in my pictures, like extra shadows, folds, thinner lines details and other things. And it left me with the feeling of "I can totally improve this drawing"

I started almost from scratch, using the previous picture as a sketch. changed some details in the expressions and improved the outlines, because the original ones were a bit shaky.  I added things like her  forehead jewel, changed her ears, eyes, the size of the squid, added a black vest to Shantae, and so on.

Since I made many changes, I decided to submit  this one as a new picture instead of replacing it. The way I see it's a different artwork. Similar, yet different. And If you want to, have fun comparing the differences X9
