what a time to be a dc fan...

1.) 2 decades into this surreal golden age of comic book inspired media, there really is nothing as captivating as the simple sight of Batman aggressively beating the fuck out a criminal. 

2.) Aside from there being an owl on it, and all that might imply dc/batman-wise, that card from the Riddler is the same one the Zodiac sends Robert Downey Jr in Fincher's Zodiac!!!!!!!! (If you've not seen it, it's ever so worth your time, made all the more interesting for being based on real events, and might be Fincher's third best after Seven + Fight Club.)
