The beginner textbook Athenaze is most famous from it's semi-Ørbergized Italian incarnation, but the original UK version (available on Amazon at this link) confers many benefits on the student, especially when used in conjunction with the version from Italy.

I use the Lucian Pronunciation of Ancient Greek, and you can learn about it in this video, or by reading this Ancient Greek Pronunciation Guide I wrote, which also compares the various pronunciation systems.
