This year we have taken new steps to find more peace and joy in our everyday lives. Here’s Abe working on a diy dollhouse he got for Xmas. We’re making room for activities in our life that don’t profit, grow, crow or serve any other purpose outside of general enjoyment. This year has pushed us to many limits we never thought we’d breach. After 10 years making music and life together we look back and find that the moments of joy have been too few and far between. We work hard and fast out of a sense of lack and impending failure that has driven this train for the past decade. We are grateful for all we’ve accomplished under this blind dedication to being “useful” and as we move into this new year and chapter of our lives we wish to leave those old traumas behind and take joy in life…finally, at last! One phrase surfaces on repeat as we walk out of the darkness and weight of our own expectations and ambition… “Why did we suffer like that?, We didn’t have too, the discomfort was needless“ So this year we dedicate our daily lives to living and embracing joy, sleeping in, photo dumping without tags or captions, eating fantastic food and not cleaning the house Every. Single. Fucking. Day. When our home is messy our family is being loved, the walls hold our experiences however we cultivate them. Messy house = Happy Family that is getting all the love and attention it needs. Our family is the king/Queen of our life and we serve each other. We’ll be letting go of the preconceived ideas of what we think makes us good parents/human beings and embrace all moments together waiting for connecting and cultivating. Best wishes and kind regards to you all! Hope you find time for yourself this New Year! 💚💚💚🎉🎉🎉
