The first and only time Abe ever played this song he wrote for his dad Ed was standing on a stump in the middle of the Crestone Energy Fair surrounded by many friends who love and adore Ed and his family. Abe would never get another opportunity to play this song for his dad. Later we ended losing this song in our own brain files from 2011 - 2020. Abe rewrote this song from memory after all those years and added some extra verses. This song is a tribute to his dad and is song #4 on our newest album "Songs of my Father".

This song is a song Abe wrote for his dad Ed during his 3 year battle with cancer. Unfortunately Ed passed away in 2011 when he was 72 years old.
