Just to add two points given the anime didn't have time to explain in detail. Sasaki Kojiro is likely to be a fictional character. The renowned swordsman mentioned in this dialogue is Miyamoto Musashi, who is a real famous swordsman and tactician. However, one of the most famous tales of Musashi is his battle with Kojiro, which ended with Musashi's victory, was either completely or partially made up. The name Sasaki Kojiro only appeared in literature years after Musashi's death (this is what I read so take it with a grain of salt). That being said, the duo between them became very popular in Japan. One of the most well-known references to them is Team Rocket from Pokemon, using the exact names of Musashi and Kojiro. What makes Saber's sword go invisible is one of her Noble Phantasms, 'Invisible Air'. Because Excalibur is just too famous, showing people her sword in a grail war will immediately give away her identity. This ability uses highly compressed air to bend the light around the sword, making it appear transparent. When released, the compressed air could create either powerful shockwaves or piercing flows of wind. In the first fight with Berserker, Saber used this to cut down Berserker once.

Holyyy that whole process of the sword being transparent and then emitting a shockwave is actually the coolest thing ever. Definitely my favorite weapon of the entire series

One thing to point out: the technique that Sasaki Kojirō uses, Tsubame Gaeshi, actually translates as "Swallow" (like the bird) Reversal, not "Shallow" Reversal. TL;DR is that it was supposedly a technique capable of cutting a bird down mid-flight. Aside from that, no other comments, but I'm *really* looking forward to your reaction on the next episode.
