This has been a busy week, so it's a great time to talk about Pole Bruises!
Bruises are a normal part of doing a high intensity activity like pole, and although your body can get used to it, and your normal moves will hurt less, there are SO MANY moves to do that you will always encounter some that you aren't conditioned for (or you'll do more than usual and get bruises anyway). I've been at this for a decade now and it still happens.
If you're new to pole, don't be disheartened! The moves will start to hurt less, and you will recover faster. But it's good to remember that it is hard on your body, and it is important to take time to recover, even when you've been doing it for ages 😅
