"I find that idiotic. You should only fight for what you care for." I said, sighing. "Do you want me to save you?"

"If you did, I would continue trying to stop you." She said looking up at the ceiling. "Wish I could have told Jaune how I felt. Shouldn't have been a coward."

"I'll let him know how you feel," I told her, it being the least I could do.

"No need. It would just cause him unnecessary pain." Pyrrha said, tears swelling up in her eyes.

I turned around leaving Pyrrha. Knowing I could take her ability, but it seemed like it would be a disgrace to do. However, I heard her ask one final question.

"Do you believe in destiny?" She asked, I turned back looking at her from the corner of my eye.

"I don't believe in destiny, I only do what's best for me," I told her, seeing her close her eyes.

"I see..." She said, taking her last breath. I thought about how my family would react knowing I killed their friend. Shaking my head to clear my thoughts, I summoned my balance breaker.

"Boost X 100!" Ddraig announced, my body was bursting with power that I knew it couldn't contain. Like at any moment my body was collapsing.

I punched the vault door, the hinges not being able to withstand my force broke. The doors broke in on themselves allowing me to see the last relic. It was in the center of some castle in ruins. I was about to step into the room when I heard someone scream from behind me.

"Pyrrha!", Jaune yelled.

I turned around surprised at how he got here. I saw that my portal was still up answering my question. Nora, Ren, and Weiss stepped through soon after I noticed the portal.

They looked around spotting Jaune kneeling next to Pyrrha holding her in his arms. Nora and Weiss gasped and put their hands in front of their mouths in disbelief. Ren looked away with anger and sadness written on his face.

He was the first to notice me when he saw me. His eyes went wide at seeing my appearance. My balance breaker is shown glowing green eyes letting him know I was aware of their presence.

"Mavros!" Ren yelled expressing his anger which was nothing like his normally calm collected self.

Jaune and Nora's heads jerked toward Ren's direction, noticing where he was looking followed his gaze seeing me.

Jaune gently put Pyrrha down and started advancing toward me in rage.

"We accepted you even after seeing how ruthless you were with Cardin and his team. We knew you were a monster. You promised you wouldn't hurt us if we didn't hurt your family." Jaune started, causing me to sigh. "Was everything a game to you? Did you enjoy gaining our trust just to betray us?"

I turned my gaze back to the relic going toward it disregarding them. I never considered them my friends. Didn't even hang out with them more than a few classes, lunch, and a few times my team hung out.

I don't remember even talking with them other than with the instance with CRDL. If they would have requested to join me when they had the chance. It would have been different.

Not that they would have. They had goals that didn't match up with mine. Jaune wants to be a hero. Nora and Ren want revenge on the Grimm that destroyed their village.

I dropped the balance breaker forgoing the armor and power. I may have lost the increase in power, but my body couldn't handle it for long. So, it was a better decision to save the balance breaker for the fight with the brothers.

I knew that Jaune, Weiss, Ren, and Nora were coming after me. However, it didn't stop me from reaching the relic and reaching my hand out to the sword. I was distracted completely by the relic that I didn't sense the attack behind me. I felt something pierce my body and looking down I saw Pyrrha's spear poking through my stomach.

[Damage 1000+100 damage per second until the spear is removed. Healing has stalled.]

I reacted on instinct and spun around backhanding the attacker. Send them away from me. It was Ren, whose aura shattered from the impact of my backhand flying back towards my other pursuers.

Nora jumped up to catch him before he could hit anything. Gripping the spear from my front, I yanked it the rest of the way out of my body.

I looked down at the spear and was surprised by their tenacity. They wanted revenge for their friend's death. They used the spear I left inside Pyrrha, so they had to mutilate her body even more by removing the weapon. I'm sure they reasoned it would be what she would have wanted because she was a true huntsman. I sighed again, burning the spear with my Dragonslayer magic.

The time brought about by me thinking about what they did allow Jaune to get up to me with Weiss close behind him. Jaune with his amateurish martial arts threw a punch at me. I reached up, catching his fist in my hand.

"I'm going to kill you, for what you have done! You hear me!" Jaune yelled, throwing another punch which I caught in my other hand.

"I understand why you used her weapon, but if Pyrrha couldn't stop me what chance do you think you four have," I said, squeezing his hands causing him to scream in pain.

I saw Weiss was summoning some ice from her glyphs, her hand pointing toward me, but I just looked in her direction using an ability I hadn't gotten the chance to use. Blood control. She froze up, her hand slowly pointing toward Nora and Ren.

Ren had been knocked out from my attack and Nora was worried desperately about him and was trying to wake him.
