'Athena?! What in the world is a Greek god doing in Japan?' Ddraig groaned.

'The Shinto gods mentioned something about warning other pantheons... Looks like they did just that. Damn... we were being spied on earlier. And she smells completely human too!' Issei confirmed.

The dragon stared at Athena's outstretched hand before crossing his arms in a rude manner. "And what exactly do you people want?"

"We aim to thwart Ophis' plan. We overheard everything Azi Dahaka said to you. Please forgive our deception, but we were under orders from our respective pantheons to observe you until Ophis' return," Athena explained, reluctantly lowering her arm.

"Why are you involving yourselves in this? Ophis could easily eliminate any god in the world... I almost killed those two idiots over there, and I haven't even tapped into my true power. You guys are just like devils and angels... arrogant imbeciles who believe they must meddle in everything," Issei scoffed.

Athena's expression turned into a frown. "I would not have come here if I had a choice. The idea of perishing in this foreign land doesn't appeal to me. However, my father Zeus has tasked me with aiding the Shinto gods. Hear me out, Issei Hyoudou... You clearly oppose Ophis, just as we do. Would you consider lending us your assistance?"

"Athena, you can't be serious!" Verethragna interjected, his voice filled with protest. "This dragon is dangerous, and he..."

"You're the one who attacked him without reason! You and Susanoo! Furthermore, you exposed us and tainted his perception of gods!" Athena fiercely interrupted, cutting off Verethragna.

Issei shook his head, insisting, "Don't get involved... This is my fight."

"But if Ophis poses a threat to us, what will you do? Azi Dahaka mentioned forcing you into their ranks, regardless of your resistance. I cannot stand idly by while that happens. Please reconsider. Your power is undeniable, and I would welcome your assistance. Despite the stubbornness of these proud individuals, we need all the help we can get... and, no offense, but I believe you could use some assistance as well," Athena responded sincerely.

'Normally, I would caution against accepting such an offer, Issei. However, they will be present regardless. We have nothing to lose by allowing them to aid us. In fact, if they can divert some of the evil dragons' attention away from you, it would greatly improve our chances of success. If they resort to underhanded tactics afterward, we will deal with them accordingly,' Ddraig suggested.

"Is that Magni fellow among your group of gods?" Issei inquired, breaking the long and awkward silence.

"Yes," Athena nodded in affirmation.

Issei let out a weary sigh, his resolve wavering. "Fine... If you insist on risking your lives to help me fight Ophis and her dragon army, then be my guests. Just don't hold me responsible if you end up getting killed in the crossfire. She's returning in two days."

"Thank you, Issei Hyoudou. I promise that your act of acceptance will not be forgotten," Athena expressed her gratitude.

Issei had a burning question for Athena. "I have something I need to ask you all... Is there any truth to the things Azi Dahaka said?"

Hesitant, Athena responded, "Honestly, I can't say for certain... But Azi Dahaka's father, Ahriman, is an incredibly wicked god. He was once imprisoned in Cocytus. Some parts of what he said might hold truth, but like any masterful lie, it is likely filled with half-truths."

'Wait... Didn't the devils mention that Kokabiel was attempting to access Cocytus? Is that what they have planned for me?' Issei recalled Saji's fearful words from earlier.

'In that case, having their assistance becomes even more crucial,' Ddraig chimed in.

Issei felt a mix of frustration and helplessness. "This whole situation is a complete mess... Why did it have to turn into such a chaotic disaster?"

"I understand that it's difficult for you, Issei, but we need to approach this with strategic thinking. Moreover, if they witness your true power, it will send a resounding message to gods worldwide," Ddraig tried to reassure him.

Interrupting the silence, Athena sought permission to ask a question. "May I inquire about something, Issei Hyoudou?"

"What?" Issei responded, his tone edged with irritation.

Athena observed him with concern. "You recently attacked the Underworld... May I know the reason behind it?"

"Some devil scum kidnapped my friends with the intention of raping them. I wanted to send a message to the devils that I wasn't afraid of the Maou, and that they were not untouchable," Issei explained, surprising himself with his relatively calm demeanor when conversing with Athena, despite his earlier anger.

"Oh... I had no knowledge of that... I'm truly sorry to hear what happened," Athena expressed genuine empathy.

Relaxing his crossed arms, Issei announced, "Alright, I'm leaving now. If you're serious about helping me, be prepared in two nights. But if any of you entertain thoughts of betraying me..."

"We won't! I swear upon Olympus!" Athena urgently interrupted, her sincerity evident.

"Remember, I won't hesitate to eliminate all of you," Issei concluded his warning before finally stepping into the portal.

Once Issei had departed, Athena let out a sigh of relief. "Well, that went better than I expected... Not thanks to you two!"

She turned around, glaring at Verethragna and Susanoo. "What were you thinking, attacking him?"

Soon after, the other gods who had been observing the scene descended to regroup with the three of them. Athena immediately looked at Artemis. "I'm surprised you didn't intervene, sister."

"I was considering it, but Thor advised us to stay back... He believed that too many gods might have further aggravated the dragon. Besides, you seemed to have the situation under control. I can't believe you managed to convince him to assist us," Artemis commented.

"He specifically inquired about your presence, Thor, and even addressed you by your son's name. Your involvement might have helped sway his decision as well," Athena mentioned, addressing the Norse God of Thunder.
