Kalawarner shrugged, unsure of the situation. "It's difficult to determine... but Kokabiel isn't exactly known for being friendly. Whenever I encounter him, he talks incessantly about his desire to destroy Kuoh Academy and eradicate all the devils there. Until we understand his motives, we can't be certain of how to handle him. Nonetheless, I will report this to Azazel as a priority."
"Destroy Kuoh Academy? Let him, I couldn't care less. I could just transfer to a high school in Kyoto," Issei chuckled, dismissing the threat.
Kalawarner quickly interjected, her tone serious. "That might not be the wisest choice. If he were to target the Sitri or Gremory heirs, it would likely ignite another catastrophic war. With Tiamat's presence already causing tension in the town, any reckless actions by Kokabiel could have dire consequences for all of us."
Xenovia's face fell, disappointment evident in her voice. "Can Azazel do something to stop Kokabiel?"
"He possesses the power to confront Kokabiel, but it would be a precarious situation. The town is already on the brink of conflict, and if the devils witness Azazel displaying his strength, it may be misconstrued. Patience is crucial for now," Kalawarner explained with a sigh.
Issei's thoughts wandered, contemplating the complexities of the situation. "Now I understand why Great Red is so detached from all this... It's no wonder I was advised to keep my true identity hidden. Dealing with the politics of angels and devils is beyond absurd. If God were still alive, he'd probably join us in riding through the Dimensional Rift."
Ddraig responded telepathically, expressing his agreement. 'Indeed, Issei. I'm glad I convinced you to remain concealed all these years. The intricacies of this world are mind-boggling. If things continue to escalate, it wouldn't be surprising if you ended up traveling the Dimensional Rift with Great Red for eternity.'
Issei acknowledged Ddraig's insight, grateful for his guidance. 'You are a true dragon sage, Ddraig. I cannot fathom how chaotic my life would be without your wisdom. If matters worsen, I might as well embrace a life spent soaring through the Dimensional Rift alongside Great Red.'
Issei felt a sense of resignation as he pondered the situation. "I suppose I'll have to deal with that Kokabiel guy somehow," he muttered to himself.
Raynare turned her attention to Kalawarner, seeking guidance. "What do you suggest, Kala?" she asked, her voice tinged with uncertainty.
Kalawarner's expression grew serious as she unfolded her arms and leaned forward. "At the moment, our best lead is Freed Sellzen. We could potentially deceive him by posing as allies working for Kokabiel's cause. Drawing him out with the presence of these two exorcists could provide valuable information," she explained.
Curiosity filled Irina's voice as she inquired about Freed Sellzen's whereabouts. "Where was the last place you encountered this rogue exorcist?" she asked.
"He was last seen near some apartment complexes on the other side of town. He may have moved since then, but if he's truly seeking Excaliburs, having you two as bait could be an effective strategy," Raynare answered.
Xenia's concern for their safety led her to propose involving Issei. "Irina is right, Issei should accompany us to ensure the fallen angels don't have ulterior motives. It would be wise to have a mediator in this alliance, especially if the devils become involved," she suggested, bowing her head respectfully.
Issei let out a frustrated sigh and shook his head, realizing that he was being pulled into yet another complicated situation. "Fine, I'll handle it just to put an end to this incessant discussion," he reluctantly agreed.
Xenovia appeared puzzled by his response. "Handle what, exactly?" she asked, seeking clarification.
Issei silently made his way to the garage, where his motorcycle awaited. As he started the engine and opened the garage door, the four girls hurriedly gathered at the front of the house, calling out to him.
Irina's voice carried concern, "Issei, when did you get a motorcycle? Where are you headed?"
"I'm going to track down Freed Sellzen. Both of you, get on," Issei commanded, his gaze fixed on Irina and Xenovia.
Though hesitant, the two exorcists approached the motorcycle, unsure of what to expect. Irina voiced her uncertainty, "I've never ridden one before."
"There's only one seat in the back," Xenovia pointed out.
"Plenty of room for both of you, so hop on now," Issei insisted.
Raynare and Kalawarner exchanged incredulous looks, their gazes fixated on Irina. As Irina maneuvered herself onto the motorcycle, closely pressed against Issei's back to accommodate Xenovia and her sword, the two exorcists found their places.
Raynare's concerned expression turned towards Issei, her eyes searching for answers. "Where should we meet you?" she inquired.
"I can handle this on my own. It would only complicate matters if Kokabiel were to discover your involvement. Go report to Azazel, your leader, and share what you've learned. You can also inform him that I'll arrange a meeting later in the week," Issei responded.
Caught off guard, Raynare protested, "Wait, what are you planning to do?"
Issei glanced back at her, determination etched on his face. "I'm going to eliminate this rogue exorcist."
"I want to join you!" Raynare insisted.
Kalawarner intervened, shaking her head. "Issei makes a valid point. If he takes care of Freed, we can maintain our cover. Besides, we need to report to Azazel as well."
Reluctantly, Raynare relented, vowing to check on Issei the following day. With a nod from Kalawarner, Issei revved the engine and set off on his motorcycle.
"Let's go," Kalawarner stated, readying herself to teleport.
