Gritting his teeth, Zeldris disappeared along with Estarossa, who had tears in his eyes. They appeared next to Meliodas, both aiming to attack their brother. Before they could land their attacks, he disappeared between them.

Eyes glowing a dark purple, Zeldris turned back towards the commandments.

"He claims of an eight sin. Fraudrin, who does he speak of."

"He speaks lies. No sin goes by that name."

Confused by the answer, Zeldris was thinking about what this could mean before deciding to think about it later.

"Our power is taking too long to return, naturally. Go find other sources, devour souls, whatever works. I have a feeling we will need it."

Following their orders, all the commandments started making their way to other locations.

Back with the sins, Meliodas was lashed out for his rash actions by King and Jenna.

For he claims he was just saying 'hi', however, what he really did was pick a fight.

"The ten commandments as a whole are stronger than us. What we are going to do is split them up, and I know the perfect way. The Kingdom of Britannia has many different nations and villages. They will seek to regain their powers by taking them from the populace. We will go after them while they're separated and take them out one by one."

"So, you're using the people as sacrifices?" King asked, glaring at Meliodas.

Meliodas just stared at him with only determination showing on his face. He knew what war was like. In war, you have sacrifices, so if a few nations or villages had to fall for them to win. He would gladly sacrifice a few.

"You're despicable. I'm leaving. I'm going to find Diana. I know Prime had his reasons for sending her away, but I don't fully trust him. Just like I no longer trust you, Meliodas."

With those words, King flew off. No one stopped him as he was too angered to be stopped, and no one could blame him. For they understood why he was mad, Meliodas was using people as pawns, and even though they understood his reasons, they all didn't like the choice.

"Next order of business is to find Escanor." Meliodas said, breaking the tension with a smile.

"Why would we need that when you are so much stronger after receiving your power?" Elizabeth asked, curious.

"Well, Prime is out of commission for now. So, we will need Escanor, who is stronger." Meliodas said, walking toward the exit of Ishtar.

"Escanor stronger than who? You or Prime?" Gilthunder asked, stepping up to Meliodas.

"Don't know. They never fought, Prime always saw it as a nuisance. Never said why." Meliodas said, making everyone curious.

Who was stronger? The Sin of Pride or the Sin of Despair. It was the questions on all of their minds.

Prime POV:

Smiling to myself as I watched Hikari use her powers to create a new world. Overflowing with new species of creatures that weren't meant to exist.

In the distance, I wasn't certain if I was seeing an alligator flying or a penguin. The animal seemed to be a mix of both.

...Did it just breathe fire?

'This isn't real, Prime. You need to stop this. Do what must be done.'

Not answering, Mavros, I started walking toward Hikari. Who had grown into a young woman. During this ordeal, I was given the chance to see what our life could have been. Even though it always ended the same way. Hikari, dying by my hands.

It had to be the hardest thing I've experienced in my very long life. Seeing my daughter dying over and over again is one thing, but her dying by my hands when everything I've done was to try and protect her.

"Dad, are you okay? You have been acting strangely lately. Is something going on?"

Smiling sadly, I looked Hikari in the eyes, her blue colored eyes, looking back at me in confusion.

"In my long life, I cared for little. You awoke something in me that I had long since forgotten. When you were granted life and I held you in my arms, I knew right away you were different. Maybe it was because I used the abyss and a part of my soul to create you. It could be that I wanted a more longing attachment, and you were there, " sighing and turning away from Hikari, I still felt her presence.

"I knew it wasn't meant to last. The Abyss wanted me to devour you the moment you were born. However, I'm very stubborn. So, in a moment of... love, I cast you out, hoping you could live a long life. Knowing one day, you would seek me out. I thought by that time the Abyss would come to terms with you. The hunger just grew."

"Dad, what are you talking about? I'm right here."

"No, you aren't. This is nothing but a nightmare. But it doesn't change what I feel that I need to do. So, I'll ask you this one thing. If you had to choose a life where you knew at the end, you would perish but got to experience the love of a father. Would you still go through with it?"

Feeling the scenery changed. I felt tears going down my face. For I knew what had happened.

"Why are you asking me? After all, I'm not real."

Turning around, a deformed Hikari spoke back to me. Her face had seemed to split where one side was normal. The other looked to have been eaten off. One arm looked at missing chunks as if something or someone had ate parts of it.

I already knew what had happened to her. The copper taste had already filled my mouth, and I felt myself holding something. Not bothering to even look, I just stared at her.

"Enough, Prime. I'm taking control. There is a different way to go about this. You're just too afraid to accept it. So, I shall."
