Quick Update (Patreon)

Hello!

Due to the relaunch and splitting of the series into light volumes, I find myself working in various directions at the moment. I'm still working on final edits through Chapter 80, and I spoke with my editor about sending the latest batch of chapters through first edits (though there are a few places I want to look at first for flow).

I also wanted to add a glitzy banner to the latest chapter (Book 3, Chapter 1), but... After revising my outline for the series and comparing it to how far I actually got within the two books... I might need to consider calling Book 3 something other than "All For Naught," realizing that... I may be looking at five overall books instead of four. I don't want to suddenly push the plot too fast just to fit the story into a title, and I need some time to showcase the other two demon lords lurking about (let's just pretend they have a union, and they demand a minimal amount of screentime).

In tongue-in-cheek style, I blame everyone except myself for my plot pace since I can ignore my accountability.

But more seriously, I will sleep on the idea of calling Book 3: Into Shadows. So, for now, you'll see Book 3 in the posts/collection name. On the bright side, this might force me not to be a cheapskate and commission another anime-style cover with the aforementioned demon lords.

I also need to start going through Patreon and updating the chapter numbers as everything re-launches on the outside sites (for example, Book 2 begins with the original Chapter 58, but I'll renumber it to Book 2, Chapter 1). I'll work on that and add links at the end of the Patreon chapters to the next chapter since that makes it easier for readers to navigate. I will also start a Book 2 collection and link the appropriate chapters there.
