Hi all! Thanks for sticking around in the VIP tier while we wait for the next phase of BL3 content. We'll be diving into that as soon as I finish Diary of a Gagslut. 

In the meantime, I thought it might be fun to show a little peek at the pet project I've been secretly plugging away at for the past year.

Introducing BE RIGHT BACK!

There's currently about 2-3 hours' worth of content depending on how good you are at platformers and how thorough you are with finding secrets. With everything I have planned, I expect BRB to eventually be about 7-8 hours long in total.

Be aware that this game is a departure from the type of stuff I usually post! Some of the humor and character designs might feel familiar, but there is no NSFW/fetish content, and the feel is much weirder and bleaker than the usual Jam business. Dialogue is breezy and full of dumb jokes, but touches on harsh topics like mental illness and suicide. (Fun!) Proceed with caution if you're sensitive to that kind of stuff.

Don't worry, I'm not planning to give up on the lighthearted kinky stuff! I know that's what you're all here for. This is just a side project I'm doing on my own time.

If you do decide to give it a spin: Any advice, critique or other feedback from a player's perspective would be super helpful to me! I'm still trying to figure out which parts are good and which aren't, so don't hold back.

Art, writing and programming are mostly by me. Some visuals are adapted from royalty-free assets from OpenGameArt.org or Pixabay. I got a little programming help from @XorDev, who also generously allowed me to use a modified version of this shader for one of the backgrounds.

To create the game's soundtrack, I'm working with a professional composer who previously worked on the soundtrack for Stranger Things. (Exciting!) He did the track that plays during the main part of Chapter 3, and will be composing some original tracks just for BRB. You can check out more of his music here. 

(While I have a license for the chapter 3 music, most tracks in the alpha are placeholders I swiped from other composers, to be licensed or swapped out later. Full tracklist is here.)

There's still a ton of work left I would like to do before announcing this publicly, so please don't share it with anyone else yet.
