Firstly, I understand that you're building yourself a third financial grounding. But I'm not sure if an ad in the middle is a smart idea. I'm one who highly dislikes advert blocks put by the content creators themselves _in the middle_ into their videos. It disrupts the flow, the story you want to tell in the video. I know that's what ads are supposed to do in a way, but like it's done for this one, it's a smack in the face. For me up front is okay, at the end is okay. Not sure about the rest of your audience. Maybe the YT analytics tools can tell you after a while.

If followed strictly by the rulebook, yes the penalty is correct. However, the judges need to have a feel for racing, to not rob the race of...well....racing. We want to see competition, not a train of cars following each other, afraid of taking risks. Having racing to be "politically correct" is really bad for the sport.
