Hello my lovely patrons,

(there's a tl;dr at the end)

Now this headline isn't as daunting as it might sound. I know some people are worried about everyone being hoovered up by Motorsport.

So - I'm very happy to announce that I'll be working with Motorsport.com/Autosport.com for at least the next year. Now, the channel won't be hoovered up into their network or anything and I haven't been bought out.

Instead, Motorsport have agreed to support me in my video creation both in terms of slightly better equipment and giving me access to people and resources that will make my videos more accurate and allow me to broaden my topics further.

The videos will still be coming out on my YouTube channel as normal but Motorsport/Autosport will also host the videos slightly in advance of them being published on my YouTube. That's what they take from the arrangement.

I am still in charge of what I make videos about and am in full control of their creation, direction, style, etc. The only thing that's changing is that I'll have more access to what I need to make these videos better and I'll be sharing these videos with the Motorsport platform.

Also, the videos on YouTube will bear the Patreon credits, but the videos on Motorsport will not, unfortunately.

All of this only applies to my 'explainer' videos and not the satire, comedy, bingo board, silly stuff I also put out between the main flagship stuff.

I wanted to be honest and give you a full picture of the slight changes to the set up here as you've been brilliant supporters and helped me massively in getting this channel to where it is now and I wanted you to choose to support me knowing all the facts.

If you choose not to continue supporting me, that's totally cool. Hopefully you'll still enjoy my videos.

I'd also like to know if there's anything further I can do to make this Patreon great for you guys!

Do let me know your thoughts about all of this. I hope you find it exciting as it should mean better videos going forward and that I'm more secure in making these videos for the next year at least.

TL;DR - Motorsport is supporting this channel but I still run the show, decide what videos to make and it's all business as usual except Motorsport.com get to post my videos slightly earlier than on my channel.

Great news, congrats! I have to echo Dan's sentiment of being incredibly thankful it isn't with WTF1.
