Hi Patron. How are you doing?

I posted a ton of AI-generated images for characters in my stories and books. Well, one at the moment. Did you like that?

Artist made art is always going to be better but I understand the financial restrictions with that approach. But sometimes it's good to have a visual representation of a character or a scene to get a better idea of what it is the writer is imagining. I don't like the idea of someone making money off AI art though. That just feels scummy to me. Also, a zip of the images would have been nice but I've already grabbed them all now. :P

I hear you loud and clear. I think it comes down to if it is for personal use or fun, then it isn't too horrendous. But after a discussion with a few friends who are a bit more on the up and up than me, I do repent for my actions somewhat. But am kind of a hypocrite in a lot of ways too. I am selling my writing which is 100% written by me. I use a spell-checker and a few other tools, but none of them write anything on my behalf. I do use AI images to help catch a potential reader's eye though. I do not intend on selling the image, but at the end of the day, I feel like I am in the wrong. I already explained my reasoning before, but ah. I don't think I will set of a patreon tier or anything to share AI art on though. That is crossing a line I think. I really appreciate your comments and thoughts. If and when the AI art is unsustainable/unusable in copywrite/commercial situations, I have a feeling I will end up getting all my covers redone by actual artists. I feel like all the cheap artists (Basically on fiverr or whatever that I'd go to first because my cheapness knows no bounds) would just be using AI anyway. Or splicing up AI with this and that and passing it off as not AI since they photo manipulated it. Maybe I am just making excuses to not spend money and see dozens of pictures of my characters flow before my eyes at a time?
