Robin Wood - Chapter 11 (Patreon)

An hour or two of midnight burning, and a final touch at my normal writing time and we have a glorious new chapter, my Patron. This one is just a few words shy of 5,000 words but goodness if this isn't some hot stuff. I don't know how to explain it exactly, but this chapter gives me some good feelings. Lots of emotions going on, and at the same time, lots of mega-sexy stuff.

Is this what you were waiting for? Maybe in some ways, perhaps. But there are still another two or so chapters before it's complete. I know I have been saying this in the past two RW rants , but it is going to get worse before it gets better. Hahah. I have also been getting really uppity with my italics and bolds recently. Is that unprofessional? Couldn't tell you, but I love using italics. Italics are so powerful to me. A necessary tool that I might use too much, but refuse to just throw away.

I picked up the habit when reading a book a while back where all thoughts were written in italics. There might have been single brackets (Which I use) as well, but I can't recall. Good series of books. The prince of nothing saga I think. But he used a lot of head hopping and italics. I will admit I don't think I followed it all, but I loved how mental the writing was. People's thoughts were as prevalent as normal descriptions in some cases.

'And I could go on and on about it, but this rant is already getting too long,' The author thought shaking their head at yet another massive rant in the making. 'Just get back to talking up how sexy Lin is.'

So anyway, Lin is so sexy. Hah!

This is a good chapter. The next one will have to be as good if not better. I am quite proud of how this story is turning out. More wheat than chaff I feel. It has only taken a year and a half of hard writing and editing to realize that this is something important to consider.

So after Robin Wood, I think I will be doing a few one-off stories. The long series' are great, but I can't have every thing I write be some long-ass epic, right? It's just smut! Like every hopeful in this realm I somehow try to convince myself that my smut has enough plot to be worth all those extra pages of 'story'. Maybe? Right?
