U seem to be missing out a lot on showing us the actual body fattening growth part of the animations.

I believe they're cutting from the part where the body would swell up to a close up or reaction shot because the animation of that growing action wouldn't look realistic. I think they're making due with the technology and time limitations afforded to them. They even mentioned in the description that they had technical issues.
