What A Year This Month Has Been (March 2020 Newsletter) (Patreon)

Hey everyone, I know that we're all dealing with the current global mess and I'm sure everyone has probably seen way too many posts from people much wiser than myself on how we're going to make it through this. We definitely are, but that's beside the point. What I will say is that with everything that's going on, I know some people are going to have to deal with some financial hardships. If that's you and you need to take a little time off from supporting your friendly neighborhood board game talkabouter, know that I will completely understand. The world is changing pretty drastically and we don't know how it's all going to shake out, so please take care of yourself first and foremost.
With all that being said, it feels weird, but there are actually a number of good things going on at the moment. First and foremost, as the above picture shows, I was a guest on Rahdo's channel! We talked (for a little too long) about The Crew, an excellent cooperative trick taking game. He gave his perspective on the 2 player variant while I talked about the standard mode of the game. We had a great time with this back and forth, and if all goes well, you might be seeing me on that channel again in the weeks to come (but don't tell anyone just yet).
No I'm not (just) going mad during this isolation. I managed to film another How to Teach, highlighting Middle Earth Quest, a game that I've mentioned on this newsletter a couple times. It's about perhaps one of the most important teaching suggestions I can think of, so check it out if you haven't already.
The next game poll is up with just a few days left, so make sure to head on over and get your voices heard. Brass: Birmingham is in the lead but it's a tight rice with War of the Ring just behind it. Just a couple votes could tip the scales.
Stay safe everyone.
