Important backer updates (March 2019 newsletter) (Patreon)

Hey Rules Lawyers, first off the obvious big news is that all of the Root videos are now up and available to watch! This includes the base game, as well as the Riverfolk expansion and strategy videos for $5 backers. I put a lot of work into these, so I really hope you all like them.

The other thing I want to talk about is a big update to the Patreon. When I started this I wasn't sure if I was going to get anyone on board, and since I was releasing videos at a very uneven and slow pace, I thought it only fair to charge per video instead of per month. Thing is, between base game tutorials, expansion tutorials, extra videos, the How to Teach series (which I will definitely be continuing), and any commissions I take on, I find that I'm easily going to be releasing at least one new thing per month, if not more. Because of this, I've decided to switch to a monthly payments plan. Now, because I don't want you all to be paying 3x as much as you currently are, I've decided to drop the cost for each reward tier down one step, so it'll only cost $1/month to get Paralegal status, $3/month for Lawyer, etc. 

I expect this means that some of you will no longer want to support RTFM, and to you I'll say thank you for all of your support thus far and I wish you well. For those who are staying, we were almost at the point of allowing game suggestions, so I've decided to enact that regardless of how this shakes out. Before the next poll goes up there will be a post for Rules Lawyers to suggest games and the two most popular choices will be added to the poll.

These changes will go into effect in a couple weeks and I'll make another post about it when that happens.
