May Roadmap (Patreon)

Welcome to May! Last month we tackled The Land of Eem, Fanstratics, Dark Souls, The Harbinger and Froglin Monsters, and just generally had a great time and a great month of painting! So good to be back!

For May we will narrowing our focus to really start making big progress on the Faerie Queen, while also continuing our work on the Monster of the Month series!

First up:  #LETSDRAWMONSTERS lands this Wednesday at 5PM EST on Twitch! It will be awesome, and I am giving away a LEGENDARY STAEDTLER 925 to the Golden Sluglord winner this month. 

For the Monster of the Month, we are heading back into the deep mines with a hulking menace and minions. But Justin, WHERE'S THE SKETCHBOOK? It's still on the way, and with any luck it will be here mid-month. *fingers crossed* I'm dying to get them. When its in I will have a big reveal post here to share it with you first! 

Next, we have Part Two of our 50 Lessons from 50 Monsters for the Tutorials Tier to follow up last month's article on 50 tips, techniques, surprises and take-aways that I've learned while working on the Monster of the Month series thus far. 

For Classic Fantasy Illustration this month, we are carrying on work for The Faerie Queen! You can expect a behind the scenes post on book one, sharing the work completed thus far, along with a lot of our designs. We will also keep this the focus of most of our Twitch streams for the month.  Last Wednesday was our first stream on the series and it went great. (I can't wait to dive into some of the crazy, epic battle scenes!)
